PAINT

05/26/2010

I was very happy to help the paint team.  If you need some help painting let me know!  It was fun to work together and to accomplish this project.

I also helped sort clothes from the last container in the basement.  These are some of our finds!

The Old Baby Hospital and the Girl’s Transition House

01/28/2010

I am so happy to have Ryan and Danielle at the hospital with me. The new hospital has closed again because of sickness, so I have been going to the old hospital more often.  I think this is the hand of God so that I can get to this hopsital more often.  Please pray that the new hospital will allow us to come in again after February 8th.

A couple of weeks ago, I was working at the girl's transition house.  I was praying together with the girls and Silvia opened up a lot with me.  She is so happy to be in our house because she comes from an orphanage where she didn't feel safe and didn't really have conditions.  When she came to Snagov, she has opened up about herself and I feel that the spirit was moving in her.

Here I am with Silvia and Catalina at the girl's transition house

Thank you for praying for me!

Happy New Year!

01/08/2010

Happy New Year everyone! I'm thankful to God that this year is off to a good start. We had a team that was here from Dec. 27th-Jan. 6th. There were 17 people who came to help us with the babies and children. We went to the hospital as much as possible. I also went to Peris some days, to the Girls transition house, and on a visit to a new orphanage. Please pray for the orphanage and the Baby Hospital. The hospital is under a quarentine because of cold and flu season and we are not going to be allowed to go and work there for up to a month. Please pray for the babies during this time. We gave the nurses at the hospital new smocks for Christmas and they were very happy. Also the babies got new outfits and blankets. Thank you, to those of you who helped with these items. Also, I'm very thankful to the other staff that encourage me. I want to wish all of you a blessed New Year and for the Lord Jesus to be with you always.

My First Blog

10/29/2009

Hello everyone!

I was very happy to be at the hospital this week.  Because I was at staff training last week, I really missed the kids.  When I was at the hospital I realized how much I felt their absence.

Staff training was great.  I want to thank Mrs. Roe and Mr. Jim for doing the training.  The session that touched me the most was when I met with my ministry team and we talked with Mrs. Roe about how to shepherd children.  We talked about kids that are healthy from an emotional and spiritual stand point and kids with problems.  I saw myself within these descriptions in how I process problems and feelings.  It opened my eyes to new things.  I've thought about this even yesterday.

God be with you!
