Short-term Teams are a vital part of H2H International. Each year dozens of individuals travel to Romania to serve the orphaned and abandoned babies, children, and teens for a few weeks at a time. H2H offers a variety of ministry trips, ranging in length of time from two weeks to several months.
H2H also accepts ‘Ready-Made Teams’ from churches, youth groups, and colleges.

Interested in an Internship?
H2H Internships are an exciting way to take part in God’s ministry to Romanian orphans. As you share your life and talents with these precious children, you will have the opportunity to experience life on the mission field, participate in several of H2H’s ministry areas, and explore a new culture and language. Interns bring an extra set of hands and fresh ideas to H2H, two things that we are always in need of!

Why is it called a “Tenderfoot” trip?
It’s dubbed the “Tenderfoot Trip” as we hope to encourage those who are a bit hesitant to participate on a mission trip, or a little nervous to take that first step. Walk in His steps, and join us in Romania!
What do we do on a Tenderfoot Trip?
Our focus will be at the baby hospital in Bucharest, caring for abandoned and sick babies. Your tender touch will make a difference in the life of a baby. We will also visit the other H2H ministries, including the Transition Houses and some of our Orphanage Teams.
Does a short term trip really make a difference?
YES! Countless people of all ages have gone on a short-term missions trip with H2H. Each of them talks about answers to prayer and the miraculous ways in which God enabled them to go. Many will also tell you the dramatic ways their experience has changed their lives. They have shared their talents and resources with the poor and helpless. They have been stretched spiritually, emotionally, and physically, and they have come away with a better understanding of the joyous blessing God bestows on people who give of themselves.
I can’t go on a trip. What else can I do to support H2H?
There are three major ways you can support the ministry of H2H, without just going on a trip.
- First and foremost – Pray for our ongoing ministry in Romania.
- Consider Donating to H2H via our DONATE page. This helps us continue to operate and support all of the ministry that happens throughout the year.
- Share H2H with your friends and family. Effective ministry is shared by the hands of many so the more people that get involved – the more ministry that can happen.
